What it is

The purpose of Bioethics is to encourage discussions about peoples' views on specific ethical dilemmas in the field of biology. We hope to orchestrate conversations surrounding the real world applications of medicine and biology. By using the case study method to explore bioethics principles, we would use a holistic approach that fosters analytical skills. Bioethics will allow students to build a connection between medicine and real life situations. By having conversations about ethical dilemmas in biology, students can build their own opinions and have helpful discussions about their views while learning. It also shines a light on the major moral conflicts scientists are often faced with while working.
